In the press conference last year, Yu-Min Wang (王育敏), Chih-Chiang Lo (羅智強), Shu-Hui Yu (游淑慧), and Tzu-Che Huang (黃子哲) accused Mr. Jia-Chyuan Su and his nephew of hindering Taiwan’s overall economy performances from foreign trade negotiation and diplomatic benefits during their diplomatic stay in Jakarta by unveiling the telegraph from Taipei Economic and Trade Office, Jakarta, Indonesia. Su later brought a lawsuit against the four people, Titan’s managing partner Dr. Ching-Yuan Yeh (葉慶元), and journalist Mrs. Fong-Shin Chen (陳鳳馨). The latter two was prosecuted for making related statements about the telegraphon a political talk show.

Taiwan Taipei District Prosecutors Office asked Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a copy of the telegraph, and determined the content was true. Taiwan Taipei District Prosecutors Office recognized Wang, Lo, Yu, and Huang were only making political comments out of public welfare; Yeh and Chen were only giving commented statements. All the defendants received non-prosecution per Titan’s defense.

Mr. Tsai earned an Ph.D. in international economic law from Peking University. He is licensed to practice law in Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei. Mr. Tsai is also a consultant of Beijing DHH Law Firm and worked at Lee and Li Attorneys-at-law in Taipei and Beijing Zhong Ying Law Firm in Beijing. Mr. Tsai’s practice mainly focuses on cross border M&A, international investment, and cross-strait transaction between Mainland China and Taiwan. Mr. Wang, with an LL.M. degree from National Taiwan University, has experience in defamation lawsuit, land disputes, government procurement disputes, and contract review.
