Land Expropriation Litigation

We represented a central government agency in an administrative litigation regarding the cancellation of land expropriation. The Supreme Administrative Court ruled in our favor and rejected the opposing party’s appeal.
The plaintiff petitioned for retrial and claimed that the final judgment erred in the application of law according to J.Y. Interpretation No. 188 and No.743. The Court pointed out that the two interpretations do not apply to this case and therefore dismissed the petition.
This case was mainly handled by our founding partner Mr. Cheng-Yuan Yu, with the assistance of Mr. Chao-Yuan Wu and Mr. Shi-Feng Hsieh. Mr. Yu is a senior litigator with 20 years of experience in administrative, tax and white-collar crime. Prior to founding Titan Law, Mr. Cheng-Yuan Yu worked at several leading law firms in Taiwan, such as Formosa Transnational Attorneys-at-Law and PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal Taiwan.
